I am one of America’s leading food and consumer trend-watchers and analysts. For over twenty years, I've served as food trends editor and correspondent for NBC News’ Today show, reporting on consumer trends, food safety and money-saving tips, as well as showcasing new products; as well as making regular appearances on The View, Oprah, 20/20, CNN, CNBC, FOX , and local television morning and news programs throughout the country. I also hosted a weekly nationally syndicated talk radio program airing on over 150 stations on the WOR Radio Network broadcasting from New York City. In 1994 I founded SupermarketGuru.com to help bridge the knowledge gap between consumers, brands and retailers and offer insights into the ever changing world of food, health and lifestyle. I graduated from Drexel U with degrees in Marketing and Retail Management. I then started a food-focused full-service, award-winning advertising agency, Lempert Advertising, and went on to become the Senior Vice President of Age Wave, the leading consulting firm in understanding the demographics of the global population and then joined Tribune Company as columnist, television and radio correspondent and cross-platform food content expert.
