I am interested in ideas and enterprises -- in all shapes, sizes and guises, whether well-cooked or medium-rare. After working for most of my career in Dubai in different newspapers, including Gulf News, I relocated to India and worked for The Times Group in Pune. During my decade old career in journalism, I have covered a variety of stories from culture and food, films and authors to social justice and technology. Now, I'm a freelance writer and editor with a focus on start-ups trends and their social impact; a champion of incremental changes in India, and what it means for its people, and educating underprivileged children. I am a post graduate in International Relations and Political Studies from the University of Delhi and had a brief stint as a lecturer in an undergraduate college in India before moving to live and work in the UAE.
