I have reported on entrepreneurs, and the politics and policies that affect them, for The New York Times and Inc. magazine, among others, for more than a decade. I've also written about technology and public policy – particularly about renewable energy – for Discover and IEEE Spectrum and obscure cheese for Gourmet. And I began my career peeking into the dark corners of the legal system for The American Lawyer. I live in Brooklyn, New York. When I'm not thinking about small business, I'm dreaming about trains, and hunting down old railroad artifacts.
