I'm the Chief Strategist at New Heartland Group, a brand strategy/consumer engagement agency in Nashville, TN. Our clients include Pepsi, Pizza Hut, BB Kings Blues Clubs and Mountain Dew. I'm really passionate about my cultural roots, and wrote my second book called, “Speak American Too: Your Guide to Building Powerful Brands in the New Heartland.” It defines the largest, often under-served and dismissed cultural segment in the US, home to 60% of consumers. It also explores the role that their core values play in buying behavior. Prior to founding my agency, I was Chief Marketing Officer for Elvis Presley Enterprises and held senior marketing positions with Gibson Guitar, SFX Entertainment/Live Nation and MCA Records. I've created promotions for many artists and athletes including Beyonce, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Evander Holyfield, Lady Antebellum, Elton John, Jason Aldean and Tom Petty.
