Jenny Hoffmann, PhD, is a life sciences and healthcare technology executive building at the intersection of medical innovation, patient advocacy, and business leadership. She serves as President of NEMIC (New England Medical Innovation Center), where she supports the growth of med-tech and healthcare companies across the region. Dr. Hoffmann is also Co-Founder and CEO of HA Biosciences, developing an over-the-counter treatment for IBS, and Chief Business Officer at SumMet Health, a concierge metabolic health practice. Her foundation in medical devices comes from 13 years in vascular leadership at W. L. Gore & Associates, where she helped bring life-saving technologies to market. She holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Rice University, where she was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
