Annette Logan-Parker is the founder and Chief Advocacy & Innovation Officer of Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Nevada's only dedicated pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment center. A registered nurse, she founded the organization in 2007 after her son's diagnosis with a rare illness at age 14 revealed the critical absence of specialized pediatric care in the state. What began as plans mapped out on her kitchen table has grown into a $72M+ organization with 200+ team members serving thousands of patients annually—yet C4K remains the only outpatient pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment center in Nevada, employing almost every pediatric oncologist in the state. Under her leadership, more than 92% of expenses go directly to program services, far exceeding nonprofit sector benchmarks across 15 years of audited financials. Beyond the clinic, Annette chairs the Nevada Rare Disease Advisory Council and serves on the boards of the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2), the largest consortium of childhood cancer nonprofits in North America, and is a member of the North American Committee for Childhood Cancer International (CCI). She advocates at the state and federal levels for legislation improving pediatric healthcare access, rare disease research, and equitable care for underserved populations.
