Will Lawrence is the Co-Founder and CEO of Bretton AI, which helps banks and financial institutions run compliance, risk, fraud, lending, and other back-office operations with AI. Bretton works with institutions to run these workflows on their own data and policies, with every decision traced, cited, and audit-ready, helping them grow without having to scale the back office at the same pace. Before founding Bretton AI, Will led product for Facebook's anti-money laundering platform, where he built products supporting financial crime operations across payments, gaming, and e-commerce. He later worked on payments, machine learning, and compliance infrastructure at Meta, before joining Paxos to build identity and compliance infrastructure for a regulated fintech platform. Today, Will works closely with banks ranging from community institutions to some of the largest names in financial services. His work focuses on what it actually takes to deploy AI in regulated environments, where success depends not just on generating answers, but on producing consistent, defensible outputs that regulators, auditors, and operations teams can trust at scale.
