I live in Hong Kong and work in Shenzhen as a Partner at HAX, the most active startup accelerator and seed investor for hardware globally, with over 180 investments. I moved from France to Asia in 2000 and after Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, I joined HAX in 2013 because something special, with global impact, was happening in Shenzhen. Prior to HAX, I founded an innovation consultancy working with Fortune 500 clients and startups looking to learn from Asian markets. My early career spans the fields of aerospace, telecom and gaming. I am also an angel investor in a dozen startups ranging from space to education. I have written for and been quoted by TechCrunch, The Economist, WSJ and WIRED and spoke at over 200 tech events globally including TEDx, Pioneers, Slush and TechCrunch Disrupt.
