William Phillips is the Founder and Managing Partner of Phillips & Associates, a plaintiff-side employment law firm focused on representing individuals in sexual harassment, workplace discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblower matters. Since founding the firm in 2011, Phillips has built a litigation-driven practice that has handled over 8,000 employment matters and litigated nearly 2,000 cases. The firm has recovered more than $300 million on behalf of employees, including high-value claims involving executives, business owners, and large institutions. Phillips approaches employment law as both a legal and strategic discipline. His background in investment banking and real estate development informs how he evaluates cases, negotiates settlements, and builds litigation leverage against well-funded defense firms and corporations. Recognizing that most individuals who experience workplace misconduct never report it or speak to a lawyer, Phillips created HarassmentHelp.org, an educational platform designed to help employees understand their rights, evaluate their situation, and take informed action. The platform is built on a simple framework: Rights, Guidance, and Action. He also founded the National Plaintiffs’ Summit on Sexual Harassment & Employment Discrimination, a conference that brings together leading plaintiff-side attorneys, experts, and advocates to share strategies, data, and best practices. Phillips’ work focuses on holding powerful individuals and organizations accountable while helping clients navigate one of the most stressful and consequential periods of their professional and personal lives.
