I am the Founder of the World Heritage Cultural Center (WHCC), a cultural platform built over 21 years to celebrate, preserve, and elevate cultural heritage through arts, food, storytelling, and global community engagement. Before stepping fully into this work, I spent 25 years in corporate finance, treasury, foreign exchange, and global financial systems, with experience across major institutions including IBM, UBS, Lehman Brothers, United Technologies, and Otis. That chapter ended last year, but it gave me a deep understanding of how institutions operate, how decisions are made, and how systems move across borders. That background now strengthens my work in cultural heritage and AI. Through WHCC, I have worked with 850+ cultural groups, global partners, embassies, institutions, and communities to position culture not as decoration, but as human infrastructure. What began as a mission to celebrate cultural heritage has evolved into a larger responsibility: helping ensure that culture, identity, lived experience, and human intelligence are not lost in the systems shaping the future. Today, that work is expanding through the Human Intelligence Advisory Group and its platform, HumanLayers.ai — powered by the 21-year foundation of WHCC. HumanLayers.ai focuses on the preservation of cultural heritage in the age of AI and the broader question of how human intelligence, cultural context, accountability, and institutional trust remain embedded as artificial intelligence systems scale. I serve as a Steering Committee Member for the AI Conference at the Centre for Resilience and Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge, contributing to conversations on AI, culture, ethics, resilience, and human-centered systems. I am also a Forbes Nonprofit Council member and contributor, writing on cultural heritage, AI, collaboration, and the future of human systems.
