As the CHRPO for Services for the Underserved, Margaret-Ann Cole's focus is on leading a human resources strategy that nurtures a culture of diversity and equity across a workforce of 1,800. As Chief HR & People Officer, She is responsible for driving innovative approaches to recruitment, retention, and employee engagement, ensuring each individual feels valued and heard. Embracing the complexities of New York City's diverse population, she and her team craft policies that resonate with the broad spectrum of employees, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. Prior to S:US, Margaret-Ann Cole was the CEO of Margaret-Ann Cole Associates, a consultancy focused on business performance, driving optimization and growth through HR Strategy, Employee Experience, Workforce Transformation and Talent Management. As the Chief People and Transformation officer, she led Porter Novelli's global talent function, including attracting, retaining and growing best-in-class communication consultants. Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Margaret-Ann spent three years as Managing Director and Human Resource Disruptor at Accenture. She is an innovative leader with a demonstrated track record managing organizations to peak performance, unleashing the potential of talent and enabling people to meet individual goals while also delivering excellent client service. Cole also served as North America Career Management Practice Leader for Right Management and held senior level positions at other Human Capital Consulting firms, including Towers Watson and PwC. Throughout her career, Cole has been recognized and applauded for her unique experience and perspective in the areas of human resources, leadership, core business operations, and workforce transformation Margaret- Ann has worked with organizations in shaping strategic direction and establishing organizational structures and operating systems to ensure achievement of strategic goals. In addition, she has led revenue growth and cost reduction initiatives for Operations, Finance, HR, and IT functions. Highly skilled at leading large, cross-functional, cross-border programs and projects, she has deep expertise leading comprehensive change management initiatives with the ability to communicate clear and compelling direction, set targets in line with the change effort and engage others internally and externally throughout the change process to maintain commitment and address emotional reactions. Margaret-Ann graduated with a degree in economics and psychology from Fordham University. She holds a unique global executive MBA from TRIUM, an alliance of the New York University Stern School, the London School of Economics and the HEC Management School of Paris.
