Martina is the President and CEO of OIP Insurtech, a global technology and services company supporting specialty insurance markets across the USA, UK, and Canada, with deep expertise in Excess & Surplus Lines. She holds a Master of Science in Economics and an Executive MBA. She began her career in the European standard insurance markets before finding her professional home in the US specialty insurance sector. Martina joined OIP Insurtech in 2012 as its fifth employee and has since led its growth into a globally recognized KPO for specialty lines insurance, employing more than 1,500 professionals worldwide. Known for her people-first leadership style, Martina believes strong organizations are built by empowering exceptional talent. One of her guiding principles is: “If you are the smartest person in the room, you are doing something wrong.” She is an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) and has served on the Forbes Business Council since October 2022, contributing to conversations around leadership, innovation, and global talent. Her work has been recognized internationally, including IBA Hot 100 (2020) and Elite Women in Insurance (2023) by Insurance Business America. She received the Bronze Gazelle Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Serbia (Bisnode, 2018) and was recognized among the most successful people in Serbia (2023) by the Oxford Encyclopedia. And this year, she was shortlisted for Axco Women of the Year award. Beyond her role as CEO, Martina is also a proud working mom, a perspective that continues to shape her leadership style and her belief that ambitious careers and family life can coexist. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring cultures through local cuisine and wine—now often through the curious eyes of her toddler daughter.
