I’m a Scotland-based whisky expert. My affair with the "water of life" began when, as a 19-year-old student at St.Andrews University, I tried 16-year peaty whisky for the first time. I later moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, and founded Whisky Business, a company that creates customized tasting events and curates private collections. A proud member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, I’ve worked for Robert Graham, an award-winning independent whisky bottler, and conducted graduate degree research on sustainable whisky distillation on Islay, one of the world’s whisky capitals. I am also a professional touring musician, and take my award-winning blues band to perform annually at Islay's international whisky festival, the Feis Ile.
