Nick Rogers is a self-made technology entrepreneur who has spent more than two decades building high-performance hardware companies. He began his career in 1988 and founded Exacta Technologies in 2001, developing it into one of the UK’s leading providers of bespoke, precision-engineered server and appliance solutions. In 2015, an ambitious request from a major global financial institution led Nick to create Blackcore® Technologies, a venture focused on ultra-fast, overclocked servers for electronic trading. Blackcore® grew quickly and became its own company in 2025. It is now recognised as a leading supplier of high-performance, overclocked servers to trading firms worldwide. Nick’s leadership and commercial impact were recognised at the 2025 BusinessDesk South West Leadership Awards, where he won Company Leader (51–100 employees) and the coveted Leader of the Year Award. A lifelong Bristol City FC supporter, Nick also led Exacta’s multi-year agreement to become the club’s official sleeve sponsor from the 2025/26 season, reflecting both his commitment to the city as well as the company’s strong growth. He continues to drive the expansion of the Exacta Group, maintaining a clear focus on innovation, performance, and sustainable growth.
