I am currently the CEO of SES Satellites, a global, leading satellite operator based in Luxembourg, and have extensive international experience in running global businesses. My experience spans across multiple industries and multiple business disciplines, with a proven record of turning businesses around at IBM, IMS Health, Northgate Information Solutions, NGA Human Resource and Deutsche Telekom. Prior to joining SES, I was the CEO of T-Systems International GmbH and Board Member of Deutsche Telekom AG. Other management engagements were at NGA Human Resources and Northgate Information Solutions, a leading software provider in the HR space and a global HR BPO and IT systems outsourcer as well as 5 years at IMS Health, a leading technology based analytics and services company for the healthcare industry, where I held several senior positions including president of U.S., senior vice president Global Pharma Solutions, and president of Europe Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining IMS Health in 2007, I spent 19 years at IBM, working my way up after joining as a systems development engineer. I held several senior positions at IBM across the world, including general manager of Sales and Industries in the Group's European region, general manager Global Wireless Business, vice president of Communication Industries in the Americas (covering Telecommunications, Utilities, Media and Entertainment industries), and vice president EMEA Sales and Services Personal Systems Group. I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and hold a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
