I am the co-founder of Fintech Sandbox, a Boston-based not for profit that provides entrepreneurs free access to much needed high quality data sets. I am also an investor and director in emerging growth companies and banks across the U.S. and U.K. that are focused on improving access to the private and public equity and credit markets, digitizing community banking and building middle and back office software for the wealth managers and private equity firms. I also co-founded and led Vantage Ventures to enable and invest in the emerging innovation economy in the Appalachian region and a predictive analytics platform for institutional bond investors, Capital Market Exchange. Previously, I was the Chief Operating Officer for Innovation at State Street Bank’s Global Exchange division, leading the bank’s efforts to build next generation data, analytics, an AI solutions for the world’s largest custody bank, as well as head of its Innovation Ventures efforts. I am passionate about fintech and channeling the power of the capital markets to solve big problems.
