I work with the living and the dying, practicing service as a way of life. I’m an ER doctor and family physician, applied health researcher and entrepreneur, holding a law degree and a mediation license. I’m the founder of Medāna, an AI company empowering healthcare organizations to rapidly, safely and ethically integrate AI, turning data into impactful action. Previously, I headed a large public health research center, and established the first palliative care unit within an emergency department. I lecture and consult on riddles I enjoy solving, driven by the curiosity to explore consciousness.
