Aaron Levine is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience supporting high-growth, venture capital– and private equity–backed technology companies. Known for his collaborative leadership style and strategic mindset, he has built a career helping organizations translate financial insight into business impact. Aaron’s expertise spans business analysis, investor relations, budgeting and P&L management, and he has played key roles in multiple company exits. Throughout his career, he has focused on building strong finance teams and forging productive partnerships between finance and core business operations to drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth. Aaron began his career in public accounting as an auditor at PwC, where he worked with organizations of varying sizes and stages of growth. The experience provided a strong foundation in financial processes, internal controls and operational dynamics, while also exposing him to a diverse range of business models and leadership approaches. He later transitioned into finance leadership roles within both public and private technology companies, where he contributed to numerous strategic initiatives, including more than a dozen M&A transactions during his time at Blackboard. These experiences broadened his perspective beyond traditional finance into areas such as corporate strategy, operational scaling and organizational development. Today, Aaron brings that perspective to his role at Prophix, where he focuses on using financial and operational data to help guide strategy, support better decision-making and build scalable processes that enable long-term growth. Outside of work, Aaron spends much of his time with his family, often supporting his children’s activities alongside his wife. When he has the opportunity, he enjoys following Washington-area sports teams and getting out for a mountain bike ride, balancing a busy professional life with time outdoors and family connection.
