Lisa Curtis is a Bay Area entrepreneur who covers leadership, women entrepreneurs and startups. She is the Founder and CEO of Kuli Kuli Foods, a Certified B Corp that brought moringa to the U.S. market and now sells superfood powders, gummies and lattes in 11,000 stores. Curtis was introduced to moringa while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, where she partnered with women farmers to launch a mission-driven consumer brand. She has raised more than $18 million from investors and lenders. Curtis previously led communications at a clean energy investment firm, drafted political briefings in the White House under President Obama and served as a United Nations Environment Programme Advisor. She is a Forbes 30 Under 30 alum, an Inc. Top 100 Female Founder, and has been recognized by EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women, Wild Gift and Ashoka.
