Vijoy Pandey is GM and SVP of Outshift by Cisco, leading the company’s internal incubation engine that delivers what’s next and new through emerging technologies. Outshift operates as a series of startup-like teams focused on agentic AI, next-gen infrastructure, quantum networking, and more. He also oversees several critical Cisco-wide initiatives including Cisco Research, Open Source, and DevNet. Prior to Cisco, Vijoy held leadership positions in cloud computing and software infrastructure at Google and IBM. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and is an inventor on over 80 patents in cloud computing, AI/ML, and distributed systems.
