Cole is the founder and CEO of Locus, a Y Combinator-backed company building payment infrastructure for AI agents. He left a dual-degree program in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and Business at Wilfrid Laurier University to pursue Locus full-time, driven by the belief that AI agents will be the next billion consumers, and that the financial infrastructure to support them doesn't yet exist. Before Locus, Cole built B2B payment products at Coinbase, and has a track record of winning major blockchain hackathons. He brings a deep technical foundation and a builder-first perspective to one of the most important infrastructure challenges of the agentic era: giving AI agents the ability to transact, autonomously, at scale.
