Baris Gultekin is Snowflake’s Vice President of AI, responsible for the suite of Cortex AI and machine learning capabilities, alongside driving Snowflake’s overarching AI product roadmap and strategy. Baris joined Snowflake following its acquisition of nxyz in August 2023, where he served as the co-founder and CEO. Previously, Baris spent over a decade at Google across various product leadership roles, including serving as the co-founder of early Google Assistant — which grew from 10M to 500M monthly users during his tenure. Baris holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Stanford.
