Salvador Ordorica is the founder and CEO of The Spanish Group LLC, a first-class certified translation service based out of Irvine, California that serves a wide range of international clients. A first-generation Mexican American, Salvador attributes his achievements to his passion for education and his affinity for international cultural connections. He has risen from a freelance translator to the CEO of a company employing nearly one hundred and fifty full-time staff and language experts in less than ten years. Under his direct leadership, The Spanish Group has become indispensable to multiple Fortune 500 corporations, as well as thousands of families and individuals across the globe by offering its certified translation service into over 90 languages. Salvador Ordorica's story of success, and that of The Spanish Group at large, is one based on cultural understanding, bold strategy, and the drive to help others. Salvador graduated cum laude with dual bachelor degrees in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of California Irvine, and studied at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain and later the illustrious Institut d'études politiques de Paris, commonly referred to as Sciences Po. He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish and is learning Mandarin Chinese and Portuguese. This talent for language, which was integral to his international studies, is what initially drew Salvador to translation work. While working directly with businesses and immigrants from various countries as a translator, Salvador saw first-hand how globalization and changing economies were presenting new linguistic challenges to all aspects of society. Frustrated by the lack of quality he saw in the translation industry Salvador was driven to found The Spanish Group in his early 20s. By screening for only the top 1% of translators and pioneering critical services like same-day translations that allow customers to meet otherwise impossible deadlines, The Spanish Group quickly stood out from its competitors. Moreover, The Spanish Group upholds its exceptional translation quality through highly selective hiring of specialized translators in fields such as medicine, law, and engineering. This early momentum never abated, and in the last five years, Salvador has grown his business exponentially. He has shaped his simple translation service into an internationally respected enterprise utilized by tens of thousands of individuals and businesses globally. This feat required Salvador to devise comprehensive marketing strategies for bringing The Spanish Group into Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile, and the United Kingdom. Each of these endeavors has been successful and has distinguished Salvador as a premier up-and-coming leader in international business and marketing. What began as a modest endeavor has become an incredible story of vision and success. Today, multiple government agencies and firms across numerous sectors rely on The Spanish Group to conduct their day-to-day operations. The company has become indispensable to immigrant communities in the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom by working with people in their native languages and facilitating tens of thousands of successful applications each year. Today, The Spanish Group is an important asset to the Hispanic American community in particular and has successfully provided translations for tens of thousands of immigrants facing deportation or requiring turnaround times that other services could not meet. When not working, Salvador is an avid traveler and explorer. He has lived in numerous countries and brings an incredible depth of understanding and value to his ventures through his knowledge of cultures, languages, technology, global issues, and market trends. He is also an active member of the prestigious honor society Phi Beta Kappa. Salvador continues to adapt and evolve his visions for The Spanish Group as his company plays an ever-bigger role in global markets and in people’s lives.
