Carissa Chesanek is a writer who covers the food and drink scene in New York City and beyond. Her work has appeared in Decanter, Unicorn Review, Imbibe, VinePair, Whisky Advocate and Alcohol Professor. Previously, she was the dining editor at Zagat, where she helped launch the Miami edition, and later worked as a digital content producer for Food Network, contributing to the development of a cooking class subscription app. Chesanek graduated with an MA in journalism and an MFA in creative writing.
