I started Media Minefield in 2010 following a 12-year career as an Emmy Award-winning television news reporter. Media Minefield is a national award-winning public relations firm specializing in media relations, executive social media and thought leadership, crisis communication and training. I am the author of “Flip Your Script: Own your story & unlock the positive power of social media” and the host of the Flip Your Script podcast. Through both, I share stories to motivate, inspire, encourage and help. I earned my Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. I graduated from Bethel University with a degree in English Literature, and in 2015, Bethel named me Alumna of the Year. I am one of five women who launched The 25, and I joined Bethel’s Board of Trustees in 2020. I am a founding member of the Women in Entrepreneurship Institute at DePaul University and am a mentor for emerging leaders. I’m an experienced speaker for keynotes, executive teams and a Vistage Resource speaker.
