Philip Maymin is the endowed Schramm chair of analytics and the MSBA program director at Fairfield Dolan. He covers developments and insights in the area of finance and AI. Maymin holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Chicago as well as a Master's in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor's in Computer Science, both from Harvard University. He is also a J.D. and an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in California. He has won awards for journalism, research, and hacking. He has published dozens of research papers on finance, AI, law, and analytics, as well as Financial Hacking, a book on how to evaluate risks, price derivatives, and build intuition.
