As CEO of KBS, a nationally recognized real estate investment advisory firm, I direct business activities and oversee all KBS operations including the acquisition and management of individual investments and portfolios of income-producing real estate assets. I'm also responsible for all acquisitions, dispositions and asset management activities in the Eastern United States. I'm a member of the Executive Committee and serve as chairman of the KBS Investment Committee that reviews and approves all new investments for the firm. I began my real estate career in 1994 where I managed the operations of a multimillion-dollar commercial and residential real estate portfolio. In 1999, I joined Clarion Partners in Washington, D.C. where I became a managing director and was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions for the Mid-Atlantic Region from Delaware to South Florida. I created and led a diverse team in the property management, asset management and acquisition platforms. I graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and public policy and earned a Master of Science degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University.
