Dr. Mary Affee is a licensed clinical social worker, educator, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in mental health, education, and organizational leadership. She is the Founder and Director of Operations of Horizon Integrated Wellness Group, a multi-state behavioral health organization providing school-based, virtual, and community-based mental health services. Dr. Affee is a national and international presenter, an adjunct lecturer in social work at NC State University, and a recognized leader in trauma-informed and expressive arts approaches. She has been honored for her frontline leadership (New York hospitals during COVID-19) and advocacy, including being named North Carolina Social Worker of the Year (2023), and is known for building a scalable, mission-driven organizations that integrates clinical excellence with sustainable business strategy.
