Oscar Chavez-Arrieta is a senior cybersecurity executive with more than two decades of experience leading growth, transformation, and value creation across global and emerging markets. He currently serves as Executive Vice President for Latin America at SonicWall, where he led a comprehensive turnaround of the region by redesigning the go-to-market model, accelerating platform adoption, and scaling partner-led and MSSP-centric growth. Prior to SonicWall, Oscar drove sustained double-digit growth at Sophos, positioning Latin America as one of the company’s top-performing regions globally and contributing directly to its valuation growth ahead of a successful private-equity exit. Earlier in his career, he led partner and alliance transformations at Symantec and Dell, where he launched and scaled multi-vendor alliance ecosystems with global technology leaders and pioneered service-led, channel-first models across Latin America. Known for building predictable, repeatable growth engines, Oscar specializes in platformization, partner ecosystems, MSSP enablement, and operating-model transformation within private-equity-backed environments. A frequent Forbes contributor and recognized industry leader, he is also a competitive triathlete, bringing the same discipline, endurance, and long-term execution mindset to business leadership as he does to sport.
