Kathy George is President of Spherion Staffing & Recruiting and a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) with a career spanning nearly three decades in the staffing and recruiting industry. Since joining Spherion in 2001, Kathy has held multiple leadership roles, each driven by her passion for helping people and businesses thrive through meaningful work. As President, Kathy leads a team of executives and corporate support professionals, providing strategic direction and driving performance across more than 200 franchise locations nationwide. She considers Spherion’s franchisees and internal teams the heartbeat of the organization and champions a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous development. Her leadership has strengthened alignment across the franchise community and fueled local economic growth in the communities Spherion serves. Kathy is also a key member of the Randstad North American Leadership Team. As Spherion’s parent company, Randstad provides a platform for Kathy to influence broader workforce strategies and ensure alignment with global best practices. As a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, Kathy works to cultivate a workplace where everyone across the Spherion network feels valued, respected, and empowered.
