I grew up in the airline industry, and as a result moved around a lot, including attending high school in Taiwan. After graduating from Michigan State in 1971, I began my career as a ramp agent for American Airlines, and proceeded from there into managing or directing just about all sectors of the airline business - from market planning, to fleet programs, to labor relations, to airport operations - at airlines from commuters to international carriers. Today, airlines, airports, aircraft manufacturers, financial institutions and labor unions rely on the insights and research that my company and I deliver. Often, that's included barbecuing a sacred cow or two. We're in the business of results, not political correctness. Our website, www.AviationPlanning.com provides more insight - including a Monday Update that's now in its 22nd year. Our firm is now the leader in China-US aviation research and consulting. We recently assisted Las Vegas International Airport in transitioning into America's first truly China-Welcome airport, and our www.BoydGroupChina.com website offers insight and data on this emerging sector. Our annual International Aviation Forecast Summit hosts industry leaders from around the globe and is now the #1 event in aviation. www.AviationForecastSummit.com
