Vaishali Nigam Sinha is the Co-founder and Chairperson, Sustainability at ReNew, a leading NASDAQ-listed decarbonisation solutions company. A pioneer in India's energy transition, she has driven ReNew’s global ESG strategy, earning top sustainability rankings, including a spot in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook 2025. She is also the Founding Chair of the ReNew Foundation, with social initiatives impacting 1.7 million lives across India. Vaishali co-chairs the WEF Alliance for Clean Air and is a member of WEF’s South Asia Regional Action Group and the Global Advisory Council for the 1 Trillion Trees Initiative. In 2025, she was appointed to the Governing Council of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and named Co-Chair of the CII Centre for Women Leadership. She also sits on multiple boards, including the Columbia SIPA, UN Global Compact Network India, and has previously co-chaired the B20 Brazil Finance & Infrastructure Task Force. She is a Fortune's ‘Most Powerful Women’ honouree and a Reuters ‘Climate Trailblazer’. Vaishali has graduated from Harvard Business School’s OPM Program and holds a Master's in Public Policy from Columbia University.
