I’m the President of Blackwell Captive Solutions, where I focus on giving employers and brokers a more predictable, aligned, and proactive way to manage healthcare volatility. After more than two decades working across the stop-loss and captive insurance industry, I’ve seen how often traditional models shift risk instead of reducing it. Blackwell exists to change that. We built a model that intervenes earlier, reinforces transparency, and protects the people who rely on us. My career has always been rooted in helping organizations navigate complex funding challenges with clarity and confidence. Before Blackwell, I served in leadership roles at Captive Resources, ParetoHealth, Berkley Accident and Health, and Sun Life Financial. Across those roles, from regional leadership to vice president and executive positions, I partnered with brokers and employers to build and expand group captive programs, strengthen long-term funding strategies, and support organizations across the Western U.S. in creating more stable benefits outcomes. Along the way, I learned a simple truth: employers deserve more than hope at renewal. They deserve a model built on alignment, transparency, and early action. That belief shapes how I lead, how I collaborate, and how I show up for our partners every day. I’m passionate about helping employers take control of their healthcare future, supporting brokers with solutions that truly perform, and building a team and culture that prioritizes fairness and integrity. I started my career in medical stop-loss sales, earned a degree in Communications from Millersville University, and still believe that listening, really listening, is one of the most underrated skills in leadership. At Blackwell, we’re here to do what’s right, even when it’s harder. And we’re just getting started.
