I am a Professor of Law specializing in financial regulation, data policy, innovative technologies, consumer and investor protection, and business law. Before transitioning to academia, I practiced law for six years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where I was involved in the Banking and Corporate Restructuring groups. My earlier legal experience includes externing for Judge Jack B. Weinstein in the Eastern District Federal Court of New York, interning at the Federal Trade Commission, and serving as a law clerk at the Israeli Supreme Court.My scholarly work has been published in a range of respected outlets, including Science magazine, the American Bar Association, Washington University Law Review, Indiana Law Journal, Wisconsin Law Review, Houston Law Review, William and Mary Law Review, Harvard Law and Policy Review, Berkeley Business Law Journal, Columbia Business Law Review, Harvard Law School Corporate Governance Forum, and Oxford Business Law Blog. Additionally, I have contributed op-eds to the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Law, Toronto Star, American Banker, and Newsday, among other outlets.I hold a law degree from Columbia Law School and a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. I am Professor of Law at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, City University of New York, and the Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa, where I am also the Deputy Director of the Center for Cyber, Law and Policy. I am also a Research Member at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
