Yuriy Boyechko is a founder and CEO of Hope for Ukraine. Since launching the organization in 2016—and particularly in response to the full-scale invasion in 2022—he has demonstrated strong leadership in mobilizing critical humanitarian aid across some of Ukraine’s most devastated regions. Under his guidance, Hope for Ukraine has delivered essential resources such as food, medical supplies, shelter, clean water and solar power solutions to communities in crisis. After earning a master’s degree in media communication from Regent University in 2005, Yuriy spent over a decade working in the media and entertainment industry. He later chose to transition into humanitarian work, driven by a deep personal connection to Ukraine and a calling to lead meaningful change. Born and raised in Ukraine, Yuriy brings not only a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing the country but also a results-driven, compassionate approach to leadership. Every container shipped, every generator delivered and every life touched is part of his ongoing mission to restore hope and rebuild communities.
