As co-founder of Kaio Labs, I am leveraging my interdisciplinary background in robotics and machine learning to developing an autonomous material discovery platform to discover new materials enabling sustainable production of fuels and chemicals. Kaio Labs is backed by world leading investors including Entrepreneur First and SOSV. In high school, I was recognized as the top students in my country by the education minister of India. I then went on to do my bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft. Here I designed a first-of-its kind medical robot that automated multiple labor-intensive medical procedures. I did my Masters in Robotics from ETH Zurich. Here I collaborated with European Space Agency on the design of a four legged robot for a mission on the moon. I then worked with the student rocket team at ETH Zurich, and developed the simulation and optimization architecture for a hybrid engine rocket which was awarded the most powerful rocket at Spaceport America Cup 2022. I did my master thesis on designing novel control algorithms for autonomous racing cars and was awarded 2nd place at Indy Autonomous Challenge at CES in Vegas in 2024. In my previous industrial role, I worked as a Vehicle Performance Engineer at Sauber F1 Team, where I optimized the set-up of the race car for each race.
