Maria Flynn has written about the intersection of education and workforce development for Forbes since 2023. She is the president and CEO of Jobs for the Future, a national nonprofit driving the transformation of the nation’s education and workforce systems to help millions of people secure quality jobs. Before joining JFF in 2007, Maria was a senior official in the U.S. Department of Labor, working across the Clinton and Bush administrations. Maria was named to the Forbes 50 Over 50: Impact list for 2022 and recognized by The Boston Globe as CEO of one of the top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts. She is a frequent speaker at national events including ASU+GSV and the Milken Institute Global Conference.
