With decades of extensive experience in technology, finance and business, I am a seasoned IT professional and e-banking strategist. In 2007, I founded PEX Ltd, where I lead one of the most innovative payment processors in Africa, certified by Mastercard, Visa and UnionPay International. I launched PEX after spending 22 years at State Bank of Mauritius in numerous IT, international business, retail banking and electronic channels roles. For seven years, I served on the advisory board of Visa for the Central Europe, Middle East and Africa region. I hold an MBA from Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University and completed my DBA in technology entrepreneurship from Walden University in 2018. I was named the BCS IT Personality in 2014 for my overall ICT contributions in Mauritius and Africa. My accomplishments include Tycoon Success' Most Innovative CEO of the Year 2021, Africa Leadership Awards' Leaders of Tomorrow 2017 and the British Computer Society's IT Personality Award 2014.
