Home Alliance began with an immigrant’s American Dream. With only $800 to his name, Sardor Umrdinov took a leap of faith. Perseverance, scrappiness, and commitment to excellence are not just company values – they’re ingrained in the company’s veins. Sardor Umrdinov came to the United States from Uzbekistan in 2012, looking to build his family a brighter future, but finding success was difficult.: when he first settled in the States, he worked menial jobs earning a small wage that wasn’t enough.. He looked to the home improvement industry and eventually found a low-paying job in commercial laundry repair. Sardor was quick to recognize the disconnect between the repair business, its employees and the paying customers. The problems were staring him in the face: A lack of customer service, an absence of employee training, and a serious culture of negativity. After a while, he’d had enough of being part of the problem and decided to be part of the solution. He left his laundry repair job and decided to create his own company. As he started his own informal repair business and began to attract customers, he wasn’t expecting to “make it big” by any means – he was just trying to help people get their commercial laundry repairs done while treating them with respect. His work ethic earned him his client’s trust and eventually, Sardor began repairing equipment in his client’s homes, effectively moving from the commercial repair industry to its residential industry. His reputation in the home repair industry grew quickly and the demand became high enough that he hired a handful of technicians to help, refined his vision for his future and formally founded his company, Home Alliance. Over the years, Sardor has created a name for Home Alliance by providing professional home appliance repairs while saving families money, time, and stress. He has spent countless hours hiring, developing, and providing education to some of the home repair industry’s finest and most diverse technicians. He offered training and managerial opportunities for a select few that were dedicated to his company’s vision. . Through his commitment of developing technicians, Home Alliance has been able to expand with several new departments such as HVAC, Air Duct Cleaning, Plumbing and Home Remodeling, as well as a technology department that creates automation, mobile application and ERP software for home services companies. Currently, the company is developing new technology solutions to accommodate the high market growth, connecting subcontractors to customers through automation. In the past few years, Home Alliance has grown tenfold in size from its small beginnings but has still maintained the humble core values that drove Sardor’s vision almost a decade ago. From a commitment to quality and convenience, to an adherence to the highest technician training standards; Home Alliance strives every day to improve its service offerings while always remembering its roots.
