I am the Co-Founder and Director of Solar Buddies, which I created alongside my business partner, Laura Waters. Together, we designed the world’s first refillable sunscreen applicator — a simple yet powerful innovation that has transformed the way families apply SPF. Our journey took us onto BBC’s Dragons’ Den, where we successfully secured investment from Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones. Since then, we’ve built Solar Buddies into a globally recognised brand, protected by numerous patents and trademarks, with distribution worldwide and partnerships with leading retailers in the UK, USA, and beyond. Over the past decade, we’ve sold more than one million applicators and earned multiple awards for innovation and entrepreneurship. Alongside Solar Buddies, I am also expanding into new markets with FY! Discoverd, our sunless tanning range designed to empower confidence and celebrate individuality. What drives me is building brands with purpose. Through Solar Buddies, Laura and I champion sun safety education, working with schools, charities, and sports organizations to make awareness and prevention part of everyday life. For me, innovation isn’t just about products — it’s about creating positive change, solving real problems, and leaving a lasting impact.
