Katya Laviolette is a business-oriented people leader with over 25 years’ experience in talent management and acquisition, culture change, global rewards, organizational effectiveness, real estate operations, health and safety, and M&A. Human Resources, Executive Leadership, Mergers & Acquisition, Hyper-Growth Leadership, Mentorship Katya currently holds the position of Chief People Officer with 1Password, the leader in human-centric security and privacy. Prior to that, she held senior positions at SSENSE, TC Transcontinental, CBC|Radio-Canada, Rio Tinto, Bombardier and CN. Katya is also a Board Director. Katya has received several awards throughout her career, including the E.S. Sunley Scholarship in Industrial Relations, the Queen's Graduate Fellowship, the Cameron-Wood Prize in Industrial Relations, and the Queen's University Press Prize. She co-chaired the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference, as one of the youngest co-chairs. Katya is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (ORHRI) as well as a certified coach with Integral Coaching Canada.
