Jonathan Malveaux is a globally recognized investor, advisor, and entrepreneur who has structured over $100 billion in transactions across law, finance, and private equity. He is the co-founder of Grand Alliance, a strategic investment and advisory firm, and Grands Boulevards, a creative agency helping brands connect across cultures. Jonathan also co-founded DESAVO, the #1 U.S. mask brand during the COVID-19 pandemic (trusted by Google, Delta, HBO, and most professional sports teams), and ALTO USA, a global leader in non-glare LED “lighting for health” with clients including Apple, Chanel, Ritz-Carlton, and Nike. With over 30 years of experience working across Japan, Asia, the US, and Europe, Malveaux currently serves as an Ambassador to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Advisor to Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike. He is one of the few non-Japanese ever appointed to such a role. Born and raised in the South Bronx by a mother who immigrated from Puerto Rico, Malveaux graduated from Harvard University and earned his JD/MBA from Columbia University. He serves on the board of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and is deeply committed to uplifting underrepresented communities through education, visibility, and opportunity.
