Trixy Castro is the founder and CEO of TRX Capital, a vertically integrated investment platform and private capital fund focused on real estate. An experienced, accomplished serial entrepreneur, Castro acted on her passion for entrepreneurship early on—at age 14, she started her first business, Trixy’s Tutor Time. She graduated from California State University, Northridge, and then started her career at Wells Fargo. It didn’t take long for her to return to entrepreneurship. After leaving Wells Fargo, she went on to start and sell multiple companies, including Genesis Auctions, which merged with Hudson & Marshall in 2015 and sold to Fidelity in 2017, and Genesis Capital, which she sold to Goldman Sachs in 2018. She is a recognized innovator who has developed novel ideas for tackling the biggest problems in real estate and mortgage finance and has broken barriers in these male-dominated industries. In 2015, she was featured as a “Power Player” in The MReport’s list of 35 women under 35 in mortgage and housing. Passionate about giving back, Castro regularly donates to Stanford University, the Getty Museum and the American Cancer Society, among other organizations. Outside of work, she enjoys motivational speaking, mentoring young leaders and spending time with and traveling with her family. ​​
