As the chief technology officer at Starkey, Achin Bhowmik, Ph.D., is leading the drive to transform hearing aids into multifunctional, wearable health and communication devices with advanced sensors and artificial intelligence. Previously, Dr. Bhowmik was a vice president at Intel where he led the development of interactive and intelligent computing technologies. Dr. Bhowmik is an adjunct professor at Stanford University and an elected Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
