Chris is a business executive and lawyer leading Empowered Startups, a growth-oriented company that bridges foreign direct investment with university research & development and entrepreneurial opportunities. He has extensive experience advising tech startups, corporate boards, universities, research organizations, and other businesses and not-for-profit entities on operational and growth matters, including those involving aspects of intellectual property, corporate finance, and governance. As President and General Counsel, Chris oversees Empowered’s operations and legal matters, working closely with the business incubator’s Board of Directors.
