Dr. Maya Ackerman is the author of "Creative Machines: AI, Art & Us.” She is a world-renowned AI expert, who has been leading research in generative AI since 2015 and co-founder WaveAI, of the earliest startups in the space. Dr. Ackerman holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo is an AI Professor at Santa Clara University. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed research publications on AI, and is a frequently invited keynote speaker who has spoken at Google, Microsoft, Dell, IBM, Stanford Microsoft, Oxford, and the United Nations.
