Aravind Padmanabhan was named nVent’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in December 2019. Prior to joining nVent, Padmanabhan spent two decades in technology leadership roles at Honeywell (most recently as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in Honeywell’s Connected Enterprise Business). He holds 55 U.S. patents. In his role at nVent, Aravind has a broad scope – leading End-to-End Digital Transformation across the customer journey, New Product Introductions, Product Sustainability and Cybersecurity. He currently serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED). Aravind earned a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a specialization in Sensors, Controls & Systems, and a Minor in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He also has a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
