Paula de la Cruz-Fernández is a historian and writer interested in how firms and business practices evolve, from large corporations to small business, and in women-led businesses and women’s entrepreneurship. Her work draws on archival research, community engagement, oral-history methods, and journalistic approaches to explain how today’s patterns of business ownership and business models took shape.She also partners with companies to research and help them understand and use their history as an asset, offering historical research services that inform strategy, branding, and public engagement.As a freelancer she advises academics, research groups, and professional associations on building effective digital identities and communicating their work to broader audiences.
