Carlos Hoyos is a Senior Global Executive Coach, Business Advisor, speaker, author and Master Facilitador. He has specialized in leadership, business strategy, governance, emotional intelligence, high performance, communication, accelerated learning, and value-add networking. Carlos has a remarkable story of overcoming adversity and resilience that began early in life. At the age of 14, he was diagnosed with cancer. As a survivor, he chose to amputate his right leg at the age of 28 to improve his quality of life and independence. Author of the "Power of Self-Leadership" and co-author of 7 books on business, governance and leadership, including an international bestselleris also the host of the Elite Leader Podcast, where he interviews prominent leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, board members, C-levels, bestsellers, and influencers. He focuses intensely on sharing relevant content across various leadership disciplines. With over 26 years of leadership experience in Brazil and abroad, Carlos has trained, mentored and coached hundreds pf leaders and executives from highly respected companies such as Uber, Merck & MSD, Mondelez, Aramco, Johnson, DOW, BTS, IBM, Motorola, DHL, Hyundai, BNI, TIM, Mercedes Benz, GE, Toshiba, Tetra Pak, Dale Carnegie, John Deere, Board Academy, Tigre, NEOM, Masdar, Mubadala. A graduate in Computer Engineering from UNICAMP, Carlos holds a specialization in Business Administration from FGV, along with qualifications in AI, Neuroscience, Marketing, and Management from PUC-RS. He is a Certified Advisor by the Board Academy and holds specialization in AI from Board Academy and StartSe University. Certified as a Personal & Professional Coach, Positive Coach, and Executive Coach by the Brazilian Society of Coaching, Carlos also has additional training in marketing, business strategy, sales, networking, mediation, body language reading, self-leadership, neuroscience, and accelerated learning.
