The first chapter of Jessica’s professional journey was spent primarily in the online advertising space, initially with Hearst Corporation where she started in finance, and then later moved into operational roles where she first oversaw yield and sales strategy for the digital magazine division, and then moved into a corporate role where she led the project to unify ad technology platforms across all of the divisions. She then moved to Adroll, an online performance marketing start-up, where she ultimately was the Head of Go-to-Market, working with sales, marketing and product on new product/feature development, sales strategy and driving product adoption across the product suite. After a period of reflection, which included an 18-month sabbatical traveling around the world and starting a family, she pivoted into the not for profit space, initially doing strategy consulting, and ultimately taking on her current role as Co-CEO of The Life You Can Save, a charity evaluator that is focused on improving the lives of people living in extreme poverty. Simultaneously, her and her husband work to ensure that their personal capital is invested for social good, and not just financial return. She currently lives in Lugano, Switzerland with her husband and two kids.
